Support Our Work

There are many ways for you and your family to get involved in the movement for food justice and environmental sustainability. Support our outreach and help us expand access to educational opportunities for low-come and marginalized communities by becoming a sponsor.

We want to make this program available to those most in need. We offer a variety of seasonal classes for children and adults, as well as travel to locations to teach, help in permaculture and agroforestry projects, and learn from those already doing this work. In order to build community and work in areas most affected by racial and economic injustice we need the help of individuals and organizations, especially now that government funding is being pulled back.

All contributions, large and small, are greatly appreciated and make a huge difference!

Make a donation to support our work

In honor of educator and community activist, Alva L’nez Jones Buxenbaum,  Apprentice Earth Inc. is starting a fund to sponsor programing at Kindred CRAFT offering professional development to educators, as well as scholarships for children and teens, to attend youth centered programing on the land.

The Transformational Educators Apprenticeship will bring experienced senior educators to Kindred CRAFT to provide mentorship and guidance for teachers interested in developing hands-on, learner centered teaching that combine the arts and environmental education. Additionally, The Annual Visiting Artist/Educator in Residence will host experienced senior artist/educators to offer week-long workshops, to adults 18 and older, in their area of expertise. Where possible, materials will be sustainably harvested from the land and participants will learn the entire process from beginning to end. Participants in both programs will have the opportunity to camp out on the land and eat plant based meals from the gardens when seasonally available.

Your donation will help cover the costs of food, lodging and travel for program participants.
