Creative Residence + Agro-ForesT
Artist/Writer in Residence
Open Application
We are stewards of 66-acres in the homeland of the Abenaki people of the Wabanaki Confederacy. We are honored to be guests and caretakers of the field, forest, and streams that run through this sacred land. We offer space for artist and writers to work, live close to nature, and enjoy the time for personal reflection and creative expression away from the distractions of social media and devices.

We offer a private room and space for writing and reflection, with a shared kitchen and bath. We are in the process of preparing studio spaces but for now we encourage artists who need time to develop their ideas, enjoy working outdoors, and personal reflection, to apply. We also have a Yurt that sleeps up to four people nestled in the woods, near a seasonal brook. Artist/Writers can request 2 to 8 week stays.
Fees: $2,400-$3,200 per 2 week session.

*A sliding fee scale is available, preference given to BIPOC artist/writers. Those who have the capacity to pay the full cost will make it possible for us to offer more opportunities to others without sufficient financial resources.
