Solange Nicole Grey, Esq.

Solange Nicole Grey is a Brooklyn native and the daughter of Caribbean immigrants.  Ms. Grey’s parents were both public servants and their dedication and commitment to their community through education and mentorship instilled those values in their daughter at a very young age.

 

Ms. Grey obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law.  As the first lawyer in her family, Ms. Grey has continued her family’s legacy of public service through the legal profession.  She started her career as a prosecutor and later became a child advocate in Family Court.  Several years later, Ms. Grey was appointed as a Magistrate in Family Court where she presided over paternity, child and spousal support cases for nearly two decades.
Currently, Ms. Grey is a Deputy Commissioner of the Trials & Litigation Division at the New York City Department of Correction where she manages a team of attorneys who prosecute uniformed members of service in disciplinary matters.

Ms. Grey is a member of various legal organizations.  She is a proud mother of a teenaged daughter and enjoys traveling in her spare time.
