La Jolie Journet

We are in the process of converting a school bus into a mobile classroom/art space so we can take our show on the road! Our family adventure will begin by visiting area farms engaging in permaculture design and sustainability, as well as communities of color, to build connections and partnerships in this collective work.

COVID has hit everyone hard, but especially our Indigenous, Black, and Latinx communities. The pandemic has shone a spotlight on the systemic oppression that persists in our country. 

 

Our aim is to travel and learn from those BIPOC already doing the work, to reclaim our connection to the land, create a sustainable future, and feed our most at risk communities. We want to share this knowledge and use what we have learned to further our current projects and imagine future ones.
